FAQ | Alba Rose Ashes: Fine Ashes Jewellery - Ashes to Glass

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does my jewellery take to make?
Physically creating your piece can take up to 3 weeks, however you will also need to take into account postage times to and from the UK. We recommend allowing 12 weeks from sending the ashes, to receiving your completed piece.
  • How do I get the ashes to you?
Once you have received your ashes kit, there are instructions on how to send them to our UK Studio. Once your piece is complete and has been sent, we will provide you with a tracking number. We use the most reputable international couriers to get your completed piece safely to you.
  • What is my ring size?
In this pack is a ring sizer that can show you what your ring size is. We recommend wearing it for a few hours to make sure it is not easy to slip off.
  • Do you offer a guarantee?
All of our jewellery comes with a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defaults. As with any jewellery we recommend taking our pieces off while doing any manual jobs such as gardening, exercise, washing up etc. Due to the delicate nature of chains in general, these are not covered in our guarantee. Please also remove your jewellery while washing hands or showering etc as the sealant used to set your glass in place can degrade over time if repeatedly exposed to water.
  • How do you calculate the postage cost?
We care deeply about your jewellery arriving safely to Australia. We only use the most reputable couriers with extensive tracking, so you can feel assured your package is in safe hands. The cost is stipulated by these couriers. As a Small Business, unfortunately we cannot absorb the international courier cost.
